Senior Full-Stack Developer

We’re looking for a Senior Full-Stack Developer to take technical ownership of our business applications, APIs, and automation.
The Senior Full-Stack Developer is responsible for designing and building APIs and end-to-end features, owning our Python-based automation and data tooling, setting engineering standards, and partnering with the business on data-driven solutions. We work in a hands-on environment where the same person who designs the API also writes the React component that consumes it and the SQL query behind it — so we need someone who is deeply comfortable across the whole stack, strong in Python and modern web development, and who can lead by example, mentor other developers, and make sound technical decisions with minimal supervision. Our environment is Microsoft-centric (Azure, Microsoft 365, .NET), so familiarity with that ecosystem is an advantage.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Own the design, architecture, and delivery of RESTful APIs and backend services (Python and/or .NET), including security, performance, and maintainability.
  • Support and extend our SharePoint Online / Microsoft 365 environment where needed integrations, workflows, and occasional customizations.
  • Build and review front-end features in React, owning features end-to-end from data model to UI.
  • Design data models, write and optimize complex SQL, and support reporting, data extraction, and analysis across the business.
  • Design and build production-grade Python for automation, data processing, ETL-style pipelines, and internal tooling, with proper error handling, logging, and testing.
  • Architect and implement integrations with PAL (ERP), Microsoft 365 services (Graph API, Power Platform), and third-party APIs.
  • Partner with business stakeholders to shape requirements, challenge assumptions, and translate them into robust technical designs and working software.
  • Lead troubleshooting of production issues, drive root-cause analysis, and own the performance, reliability, and technical debt of existing applications.
  • Lead code reviews, define coding and DevOps standards (Azure DevOps repos, pipelines, CI/CD), mentor developers, and own technical documentation.

    Main projects on our roadmap:

    • Extend and integrate the SharePoint Online intranet and business portals.
    • Build internal business applications and REST APIs (Python / .NET backend, React front-end).
    • Develop Python-based automation and data pipelines to support reporting and operations.
    • Integrate Microsoft 365 services (Graph API, Power Platform) into business workflows.
    • Support data integration, SQL reporting, and cross-system process automation.

Requirements:

  • 6+ years of professional full-stack development experience, including at least 2 years in a senior or lead capacity
  • Strong Python – proven track record designing, shipping, and maintaining production Python (APIs, automation, data pipelines, services) – A must
  • React – production front-end development; strong TypeScript, state management, and HTML/CSS fundamentals – A must
  • Advanced SQL and data modelling – complex queries, performance tuning, schema design, working with relational data at scale – A must
  • C# / .NET (.NET Core and/or Framework) – working knowledge and willingness to maintain and extend existing .NET services – An advantage
  • SharePoint Online / Microsoft 365 experience – SPFx, Graph API, Power Platform, integrations – An advantage
  • Proven ability to architect systems end-to-end (data → backend → API → UI), including REST API design, integration patterns, security, and CI/CD on Azure DevOps
  • Demonstrated experience mentoring developers, leading code reviews, and driving technical decisions; clear communicator, pragmatic problem-solver, and self-starter
  • High level of English (written and spoken)
